Teaching English is Easier With ESLFlashCards....

Assalamualaikum...

Like I said before, currently I’m still having my second practicum until 25^th August 2011 in one of the school in Kelantan. This semester, I need to teach Mathematics (as usual because it is my major course) and Physical Education (my first minor). Although I only need to teach English as my second minor next semester, I am require to teach English for a double period this semester due to my coursework given by English Department in IPG KKB. For me, teaching English is harder than Mathematics because most of the pupils do not apply speaking English in their daily life. Same goes to me. I have no confidence in communicating in English, just because lack of practices. Can I be a good English teacher next semester? I’m not sure. (=_=!)

For the coursework, I need to plan a double period teaching Year 5 students using at least two language skills whether listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as the language contents like sound systems, grammar and vocabulary. First I’m planning to do some activities involving weather because I already have the teaching aids that I made during my SBE task last year but refers to Curriculums Specifications for the English Year 5, there’s no topic that includes Weather in the syllabus. So I need to do new teaching aids for this teaching and learning session.
